I remember at one point where I only took pictures with my DSLR if I wanted a crisp, professional, high quality look.

Boy, was I wrong! My Iphone  can produce DSLR quality images as well!

remember in my previous post, where I shared that I would be taking an  “IPhoneography” class with CreativeLive?

I have since completed the course and have learned so much!

The class is taught by Best Selling Author Jack Davis. He is an expert with Adobe Photoshop and an award-winning designer and photographer.

During the online course Davis touched on everything from how to shoot panorama photos, the best retouching apps to use, and so much more!

One app that I really enjoyed learning about and now like to use for my social media posts is the Camera + app. Have you used the app before?

Heres a look within the app once you select the photos you want to edit. I took these photos outside on a sunny day and I used the flash to get an even brighter “look”.

You can see the original here is a nice photo overall.

With the bright colors and contract of my black boots.

I wanted the focus to be on the colorful mat saying “welcome.”

During the course Davis spoke about the importance of color as it relates to photos.

So while using the Camera + app during the online course I played around with filters to see which one would bring out the best look!

Below is the VIBRANT filter. I liked this one because it really makes the colors pop off the screen!

In the below photo I kept the Vibrant filter and added the “backlit” feature to the photo.

I really like how it kept the pop of color and even sharpened the focus of the mat.

I love the overall editing experience. Most of the apps Davis mentioned are super easy to understand.

Most of my blog photos are all about color, look, feel… the list goes on.

Theres so much that has to be considered when trying to land that perfect fashion shot.

I feel even more confident with using my Iphone to shoot my outfit photos now!

I would highly recommend taking  “iPhone photography” course if you wan to take your “I phone photography” game to the next level!
